Painting on Old Furniture: Coffee Table Art

After recently purchasing a couch with an ottoman, our coffee table’s usefulness was voided. The house we currently live in has a plethora of donation and hand-me-down furniture, so our cheap Walmart coffee table didn’t need to stay around anymore.

For some reason, I never end up painting on canvas. Although I have 5 small canvases that I could use at any given time, I choose to use the top of the old coffee table instead.

Say hello to our little blobby friends. They make the top of old coffee tables much more interesting. Perhaps a clear coating or glass top on this would make for an interesting coffee table again. I’d rather just stick it on the wall as is though.
